International Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen 2011
in the categories violin and double bass

(cs) The next International Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen in the categories violin and double bass will take place from 5^th to 14^th May 2011. Patron of the competition is again Prof. Kurt Masur and the president will be Prof. Julius Berger. Heads of the juries are professors with a long experience: Prof. Saschko Gawriloff in the category violin and Prof. Barbara Sanderling in the category double bass. The valuation is done by a jury of distinguished soloists and pedagogues. Further information, the program, the schedule and an application form can be obtained on the website www.markneukirchen.de and from the office of the competition as a brochure. Applications can be sent by 31^th January 2011. There will be prizes of 22,000 Euro, concert engagements and different special prizes.
